New companion her name is Hermana Scott

Hello everyone,

This week was crazy! I have a new companion her name is Hermana Scott, she's from Missouri and she is a Gringa ha-ha but she's awesome I love her. I'm training her and it's been great so far, As I wrote last week I have 2 areas that I'm taking over now and it's been overwhelming but so far it’s great. This week we had a bunch of new people and I want to work hard and I have been doing that. Now that I have a newbie (a baby) it makes me want work even harder because I want her to learn good things and work hard. She's great, she told me that she really wants to learn Spanish and I'm like uhhh yeah girl, I got you. Ha-ha so far she's doing good with Spanish and I have been teaching her a lot, we speak Spanish all day and it's weird to me but I'm used to it now ha-ha. How's everyone?! I'm doing well now we are 4 missionaries in our ward, we have fewer missionaries now but it's all good. Well, have a great week and oh gosh it's almost my birthday, I'm excited. Take care y'all.

Im going to be a mom!!!

Hello everyone!!!!

I'm going to be a trainer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm excited but I'm sorry I won't write a lot because I'm packing but I’m so excited for tomorrow. I’m going to find out soon who my new companion that I’m training is going to be, and I will tell you more about our adventures together next week. I'm sorry but it's been a crazy week but I'm excited ahhhh. Haha, and nervous. Well have a great week.

I've been out for 4 months now!! Yay

Hello everyone,

Well I've been out for 4 months now!! Yay! It's been awesome so far I love the mission so much and I love my Heavenly Father. This week was crazy and we walked a lot, I’m really tired from walking, I have blisters on my feet, it hurts but got to keep going and a lot of souls to save. With the lord nothing is impossible. This week as a district we learned the importance of our purpose here in the mission and it’s to Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.( yeah I memorized it).This helps me every day to help those out there like it says in 3 Nephi 5:13  “Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God(daughter), I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life”. That is my purpose here to declare to everyone his words to help them have everlasting life!!!! It was awesome and I know that Heavenly Father is there. A cool experience this week was that  we were teaching a recent convert about blessings, she had just gotten accepted into BYU and she literally was so happy about it, but then she started thinking where am I going to live?! We told her to have faith in Jesus Christ and during that lesson we talked about the importance of receiving blessings, tithing and like it says in Malachi 3:10:  “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”. We read her that and she was still doubting if to still go to BYU and we had left from her house, and hours later she called us and told us that she had just received a pioneer scholarship of 10,000 and she was just happy and thanked us for everything and I told her it's not us, it's the lord we told her SEEE he's there you just have to have faith in him. It was a great experience and I know that Heavenly Father can help us in anyway. We just have to trust him and have faith in him, we may not know when he will pour out many blessings to us but we have to be patient in his timing. I love this gospel and I'm so happy to be here it's almost my birthday!!!  August 9th :) I hope everyone is doing great. I miss y’all and take care.

We have three new investigators!!

Hello friends,

Sorry I didn't email y'all. So this week was pretty good, we had 16 lessons and it feels so good. Our district leaders were very proud of us.  We have three new investigators, Pedro, Maria, and Cesar. Pedro and Maria are married and we actually met her husband first and we showed him a video of because of him and he liked it. So we went back a per day and we met his wife Maria, hey are catholic, but Maria explained she really did want to go back to the Catholic Church because she didn't feel like it was true. She has been reading the bible and doesn't feel like the Virgin Marie is something they should praise and she surprised us. Also our plan was to show them another video but then she said, I do t understands why we so many churches and I just felt like " you should teach her the restoration" so we took out the pamphlets and we taught them and they were really amazed of how much we know about the gospel and it's just great that they were really listening and my companion was pretty upset because she didn't understand and them and I was like the main one talking. She said I was a really good teacher mad it made me feel good. But oh gosh we felt the spirit so hard and we invited them to read and to pray about the things we taught them and they were just great. Our other investigator is Cesar, we found him one day watering his grass and he was really nice and we asked if we could come back and share more about Jesus Christ. So we went again and we  got to know him and we actually showed him a video and he loved it was about Jesus Christ and he said to show him more videos, he loves to hear about God, he hasn't been to his church in a long time and he just loves to hear about it. Well I hope everyone is doing great. I know that as we read the scriptures we will feel closer and really know the plan Heavenly Father has for each one of us. I learned that you have to let the Holy Spirit be the teacher. Elders in Rama Liahona keep working hard. I don’t know most of you but good job; I want to hear good things about the Rama and more baptisms. :) Take care friends and email me. I'm trying my best to send letters to some of you but I'm still working on that. I'm broke so sorry. We’ll have a great week.
